Edward left school with no qualifications and worked his way across the jobs sectors as a bus driver, cleaner and electronics engineer among others, before being recommended to a construction company as an IT engineer working on Novell, Windows and various UNIX systems.
Within four days Edward was promoted to 2nd line support and before long he moved into real time financial data and news feeds for finance in the City of London. by 2002 he was a senior solutions consultant with an international telecoms equipment vendor involved in product development, customer solutions designs and project management working in the USA, France and Dublin on various projects.
Subsequently Edward has achieved an MBA (Management consultancy) and is a qualified teacher of business studies and enterprise which has given him invaluable insight into team management skills, training and performance indicators.
Because of the 'interesting' route Edward has taken he has a unique perspective based not only on academic theory but real world practical experience from the bottom up and as most of his contacts are short term agency contracts he gets to see first hand the results, stress and frustration, caused by misunderstood implementations of process based management.
Edward is currently a PhD student at the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE.EDU.CN) in the School of International Trade and Economics (SITE) in Beijing. China.
Edward is available for interesting organizational problem-solving/root cause analysis, research and strategy projects.
Edward is also a qualified rescue SCUBA diver and Emergency First Response with a keen interest in flight and science.
